The Highway-Intersections.net project

Highway-Intersections.net is a project what has an aim to build an enormous database of intersections between 2 highways from several countries. It started with the need for an overview of intersections in the Netherlands on a Dutch forum. Eventually that need to a new hobby of me has gotten out of hand: invertising intersections from different countries and bring them together on 1 site with information and charts.

Highway-Intersections.net brings the intersections in picture by means of several charts which have been put available. In the most of cases it concerns charts of the service ViaMichelin. Furthermore is and this is extended with charts of Google Maps. Also come there nowadays more and more good quality satellite pictures available. Thereby there are come there satellite pictures available of intersections with pictures of Google Earth and special satellite pictures of Microsoft Virtual Earth Bird Eye function. And further I try as much give information for every button point. With all these resources at each other try I a this way well possible build database, which is for everyone available.
