About Highway-Intersections.net - A story from the developer

Highway-Intersections.net is a project that has started in 2006. The intention of Highway-intersections.net project is collecting intersections of countries beyond the world on 1 central website. The goal is an enormous database with information of every single intersection from many countries of the world.

But what is an intersection? Many people thinks different about that. On this site, an intersection is an crossing between several dual carriage ways (motorways...freeways...). Also the traffic flows without interruption.

The idea has arisen by some members of the Dutch road forum, the Wegenforum.nl and has eventually rightly come to me. I manage the site now and try to develop him this way well possible. There however much time puts in and that is lacking me unfortunately already too much.

The database has been restricted now still rather small, to the Benelux and some countries. Ever I hope be able to add more and more countries. In fact the site is never finished. Also the site for the visitor and for me must remain fast, handy and nice. Actually, the developing never stops.

If you read this, the newest version, Morgenstern called v2.2 is running. Morgenstern v2.2 replace the old 2.1 version which descends from mid 2006 and has become obsolete desperately. Morgenstern v2.2 is nicer, quicker and easier in use. Also Morgenstern v2.2 satisfy to all web standards for a good view in the many which the world richly is.
